Planning a Disney World Trip With a Large Family? Here’s What Actually Matters

Planning a trip to Disney World in Orlando is exciting. Planning where everyone is going to stay when you have a large family or group is where things start to get complicated.
We’ve talked to a lot of families before their trips, and it usually comes down to the same thing. They don’t just want a place to sleep. They want a place where everyone can actually be together.
That’s what led us to build our house the way we did.
What We Kept Hearing From Families
Most families we speak with start by looking at hotels or smaller rentals near Disney World. It feels like the easiest option.
But once they think it through, the same concerns come up.
Being split across multiple rooms. Not having space to sit together at night. Kids bouncing between rooms. It starts to feel less like a shared trip and more like everyone is just staying in the same building.
For larger groups, that setup just doesn’t work.
Why We Designed Our House for Groups
Our house was designed specifically for families traveling together.
Nine bedrooms. Space to sleep up to 24 guests. And just as important, every bedroom has its own bathroom so everyone has their own space to reset.
But what mattered most to us wasn’t just capacity. It was how the house feels when everyone is there.
We wanted a place where families could sit together, eat together, and actually spend time together without feeling crowded.
Making It Fun for Kids Without Forgetting the Adults
One thing we heard often was that kids needed more than just a place to crash after the parks.
That’s why we built in themed kids’ rooms, game spaces, and even hidden features like tunnels. It gives kids something to be excited about when they wake up and when they come back at night.
At the same time, we made sure there are plenty of places for adults to relax. Comfortable living spaces, outdoor seating, and a private pool and spa that give everyone a chance to slow down.

Why Reunion Resort Felt Like the Right Fit
Location was a big decision for us.
We wanted to be close enough to Disney World and Epic Universe to make park days easy, but not right in the middle of the crowds.
Reunion Resort gave us that balance. It’s quiet, well-kept, and gives families a little breathing room. The golf course views and open space change the pace of the trip in a way people really appreciate.
What It All Comes Back To
At the end of the day, families aren’t just planning a Disney trip. They’re planning time together.
We built this house to support that. To make things easier, more comfortable, and a little more memorable.
For larger families especially, where you stay ends up being a bigger part of the trip than most people expect.
